On our continued quest to give you the best Cabernet Franc, we searched out an additional vineyard in Livermore Valley and found the Ghilmetti Vineyard. This vineyard is located in the Eastern hills of Livermore Valley.
The delicate, transparent ruby color with a hint of garnet makes you anticipate an elegant wine. And, the wine doesn’t disappoint – classic cassis, pencil lead, Chinese five spice and oil-cured black olives on the nose give way to macerated plum and currents on the palate. Moderate acid and fine tannins end in a long spicy finish.
