Our neighbors and friends, Jim and Ginger McGrail, own and care for this vineyard located across Greenville Rd and just up the hill from us. The fruit is sooo good that we have been making a barrel of wine for their personal consumption since 2002 and finally in 2004 were able to purchase a little for ourselves!

A powerhouse wine every year, 2005 was no different! Chocolate covered cherries, ripe currants float to the top while a woodsy forest floor lurks just below the surface. Big, bold flavors explode in your mouth as you notice the presence of tannins which tell you this is a wine to last. But wait... they are round not angular, you can drink this wine sooner and later - as you please. A fresh ollalaberry finish remains on the palate as the last taste.

Aged in 100% French Oak. 1/3 one year,
1/3 two year, and 1/3 three year old barrels.
