FEB 13 & 14TH, OPEN PRESIDENTS/VALENTINES WEEKEND 2010

PRESIDENTS WEEKEND and VALENTINES DAY  February 13th & 14th fall on the same weekend again this year. We are going to be OPEN for Saturday and Sunday, noon - 4:30 pm. Bring your sweetheart/lover or both out to the wine country of  Livermore Valley and visit Wood Family Vineyards!  Or come on your own and enjoy some of our sweetness!  We will barrel sampling our 2008 Grenache and offering futures along with tasting our wines.  No fee for tasting.  Now that is what we call LUVIN IT! Be one of the first to become an Extended Family Member.

2010 San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition in SF

February 20th, San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition, 2010 Public Tasting, 2-5pm.  San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition is the largest competiton of American Wines in the world. Only the Gold medal winning wineries are invited to pour.  We entered five of our wines and recieved a medal for each wine entered!  A Gold; Two Silvers; Two Bronze. Visit www.winejudging.com for more information.  We hope to see you there!

March 20 & 21st. 2nd Annual Livermore Valley Barrel Tasting Weekend

Livermore Valley Winegrower's 2nd Annual Barrel Tasting Weekend. March 20th & 21st, noon - 4:30pm.  Wood Family Vineyards is one of the 26 Livermore Valley wineries participating.  Taste wines right out of the barrel, meet winemakers, and more. Each winery will host a unique experience during barrel tasting weekend including at least 1 barrel sample for each ticket holder.  This is your chance to pre-purchase wines before they have even bottled (aka "futures")! Tickets are $25 advance and $35 day of event.

Ticket includes: a take home glass with the Livermore Valley Wine Country Logo, barrel tasting at each participating winery for Saturday & Sunday, and a Barrel Tasting Weekend map which includes all wineries that are participating in the Barrel Tasting weekend.

Last year, this event SOLD OUT!  Get your tickets early!

$25 Pre-Sell ticket sales end on Friday, March 19 at 12pm. Choose Wood Family Vineyards to start and pick up your tickets at our winery.  Tickets can be purchased on event day at any participating winery for $35.

* Attendees who break a glass during the event may purchase another glass for $5 (glass replacement fee).  Attendee must have a wristband to show proof of original purchase.  To receive your wristband and glass, you'll be asked to provide a valid ID.
