Each year we are fortunate to receive high quality grapes from the Madden Ranch Vineyard located above the Poppy Ridge Golf Course and owned by John Madden and his family. Our grapes are sourced from a specific hillside and shared with Winter Olympic Gold Medalist Peggy Fleming!
Like a two-sided coin, this blood red wine offers the best of both worlds. The nose opens up to sweet blueberry glacé pie with vanilla cream and exotic floral notes of orchid. The flip side gives you pastrami, graphite and dark, rich soil. One taste tells you that the medium-high acids and tannins will make this wine great with food and last for years in the cellar. If drinking this wine young, decant to bring out the fruit and soften the tannins. Or pick up a case to lay down and enjoy in the years to come.
